If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data which are technically necessary to allow us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security. Transient cookies (see b)
Persistent cookies (see c).
b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser's security settings.

The software is operated by OneTrust as a software-as-a-service in the cloud.

If you have given your consent, Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, will be used on this website. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").
(1) Scope of processing
Google Analytics uses cookies that allow your use of our websites to be analysed. The information collected by cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it is stored.
We use the 'anonymizeIP' function (IP masking): Since IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other states that are party to the European Economic Area Agreement. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
The following data are collected, among other details, when you visit our website:
the pages you access, your "click path"
achievement of "website goals" (conversions, e.g. newsletter sign-ups, downloads, purchases)
your user behaviour (e.g. clicks, dwell time, bounce rates)
your approximate location (region)
your IP address (in shortened form)
technical information about your browser and the devices you use (e.g. language setting, screen resolution)
your internet provider
the referrer URL (through which website/advertising medium you landed on this website)
(2) Purposes of processing
Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your (pseudonymised) use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyse the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.
(3) The recipient of the data is
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irlande
in its capacity as data processor. Google LLC, based in California, USA and, where applicable, the US authorities may have access to data stored by Google, over which we have no influence.
Google LLC is committed to ensuring compliance with European data protection law (https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?hl=en-US).
(4) Transfer to third countries
Data transfers within the USA cannot be ruled out.
(5) Storage period
Data linked to cookies and transmitted by us are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached are automatically deleted once a month.
You can also prevent Google from collecting the data relating to your use of the website generated by the cookie (including your IP address) and from processing these data by
a. withholding your consent to the placement of the cookie or
b. by downloading and installing the browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics HERE.
You can also prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, if you configure your browser in such a way that all cookies are rejected, this may restrict functionality on this and other websites.
(6) Legal basis and option to revoke
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect. Further information on the terms of use of Google Analytics and data protection at Google can be found
at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/us/ and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=en.
E. Facebook pixels
This website uses Facebook visitor action pixels to measure conversions. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected are also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behaviour of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website when they click on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.
The data collected are anonymous for us as the operator of this website; as such, we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data are stored and processed by Facebook, meaning that a connection to the respective Facebook user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook’s data usage guidelines. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. As the site operator, we have no influence over this use of data.
Facebook Pixel is used to the extent necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party, provided that your rights or interests do not override these interests. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media. If appropriate consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent; consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-USA data protection framework. Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and https://en-gb.facebook.com/help/566994660333381 .
You can find further information about protecting your privacy in Facebook's privacy policy: https://en-gb.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function in the ad settings area at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate Facebook’s usage-based advertising on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: https://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.
F. LinkedIn Insight Tag
This website uses the Insight Tag from LinkedIn. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.
(1) Data processing via LinkedIn Insight Tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to obtain information about visitors to our website. Once a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can, among other things, analyse the key occupational data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry, job title) of our website visitors to help us tailor our site to the relevant audience. We can also use LinkedIn Insight tags to measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or perform other actions (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also features a retargeting function that allows us to display targeted advertising to visitors to our website outside of the website. According to LinkedIn, no identification of the advertising addressee takes place.
LinkedIn itself also collects log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or, if they are used to reach LinkedIn members across devices, hashed (pseudonymised). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymised data are then deleted within 180 days.
As the website operator, we cannot assign the data collected by LinkedIn to specific individuals. LinkedIn will store the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the USA and use this information as part of its own advertising measures. Details can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig/ .
(2) Legal basis
LinkedIn Insight is used to the extent necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party, provided that your rights or interests do not override these interests. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media. If appropriate consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent; consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfers to the USA are based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU
Commission. Details can be found here :
https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa and https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs.
(3) Objecting to the use of LinkedIn Insight Tag
You can object to the analysis of usage behaviour and targeted advertising by LinkedIn via the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out .
Furthermore, LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in the account settings. To prevent LinkedIn from linking information collected on our site to your LinkedIn account, you must log out of your LinkedIn account before you visit our site.
G. WiredMinds
Our website uses tracking pixel technology from WiredMinds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyse visitor behaviour. Data may be collected, processed and stored from which usage profiles are created under a pseudonym. Where viable and possible, these usage profiles are completely anonymised. Cookies can be used for this. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor's Internet browser and used to recognise the Internet browser. The data collected, which may also include personal data, are transmitted to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information left by visits to the websites to create anonymised usage profiles. The data obtained will not be used to personally identify the website visitor without the explicit consent of the person concerned and will not be linked to personal data relating to the bearer of the pseudonym. Whenever IP addresses are collected, they are immediately anonymised by deleting the last number block.
Objection to data collection
You can prevent WiredMinds from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set, which prevents the collection of your data during future visits to this website:
You can find more information about how WiredMinds handles user data in its privacy policy: https://wiredminds.de/en/data-privacy-leadlab/.
Commissioned data processing
We have concluded a contract for data processing with WiredMinds GmbH.
H. Newsletter
(1) You can subscribe to our newsletter by granting your consent. This newsletter informs you about our latest interesting offers. The goods and services advertised are indicated in the declaration of consent.
(2) We use the so-called double opt-in method for subscribing to our newsletter. This means that, once you subscribe, we will send you an email to the email address you provided where we will ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your subscription within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. We will also save the IP address you used as well as the time of your subscription and confirmation. The purpose of this method is to verify your subscription and, if applicable, to be able to clarify any misuse of your personal data.
(3) Your email address is the sole mandatory piece of information required for sending the newsletter. The submission of additional, separately marked data is voluntary and is used for the purpose of personal contact. After receiving your confirmation, we will save your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (1) (a) GDPR.
(4) You can revoke your consent to receiving the newsletter or cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. You can declare your wish to revoke your consent by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter email or by sending a message to the aforementioned contact details.
(5) Please note that we evaluate your user behaviour when we send the newsletter. For this evaluation, the transmitted emails contain web beacons or tracking pixels, which represent one-pixel image files saved on our website. For evaluation purposes, we link the data specified under Section 3 above and the web beacons with your email address and an individual ID.
Links received in the newsletter also contain this ID. Using the data collected in this way, we generate a user profile in order to customise the newsletter to your particular interests. To do so, we record when you read our newsletters and which links you click on in them, and we draw conclusions about your personal interests from this. We link this data with the actions carried out by you on our website.
You can object to this tracking activity at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each email or by informing us using a different means of contact. The information will be stored for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After you have unsubscribed, we will save this data anonymously and purely for statistical purposes.
Furthermore, such tracking activity will not be possible if you deactivate the display of images by default in your email program. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all of its functions. If you display the images manually, the aforementioned tracking will be carried out.
I. Social plug-ins
(1) Our websites use social plug-ins, e.g. from Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, XING, Instagram and LinkedIn. This means that buttons from the relevant providers are displayed, or content from the relevant provider is integrated into the website. When you access a website that uses such a social plug-in, your browser establishes a connection with the relevant provider. The content of the social plug-in is transmitted to your browser by the relevant provider and integrated into the website in question. Through this process, the relevant provider receives the following data in particular:
information indicating that your browser has accessed the website in question
the IP address of the device used, even if you do not have an account with the provider
(2) If you are logged in to the relevant provider at the same time, this provider can assign the visit to your personal profile. If you interact with a social plug-in – for example, by leaving a comment – the corresponding information will be transmitted from your browser to the relevant provider and stored there. It may also be published on your profile with the relevant provider and displayed to your contacts.
J. Use of online services with registration (user account)
(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that require you to register and create a corresponding user account. In order to create a user account, you must enter specific personal data, in particular your email address and username and, if necessary, other information about yourself (e.g. name and address). In this context, only the data deemed absolutely necessary to perform our services or any contractual relationship with you are provided as mandatory information and marked accordingly. Furthermore, in connection with the creation of the user account or the provision of the services, we collect additional personal data (e.g. IP address, company ID, language, date and time of query, activities (including log-in, log-out, update, status), browser/device) if this is deemed necessary to provide the services, including preventing fraudulent use, or if we are required to do so by law.
(2) The purpose of this data processing is to provide the service offered and/or to fulfil a contract with you. We may also process this data if this is deemed necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party, provided that your rights or interests do not override these interests.
(3) Commissioned data processing. We work with processors for the registration processes, identity management and password management. These include Bloola GmbH & Co. KG and OneLogin / OneIdentity, USA. The following data may be transmitted to the USA in this context: Last name, first name, email address, company ID, OneLogin ID, language, date and time of query, activities (including log-in, log-out, update, status), browser, device. Commissioned data processing is carried out on the basis of commissioned data processing contracts and, when data is transmitted to the USA, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
(4) The data are stored for up to two years after the user's last activity. You can delete the user account at any time. In this case, we delete the data generated in connection with the user account or the provision of services, unless the data are required for other purposes (e.g. legal retention requirements), or we restrict processing accordingly. Furthermore, we delete the data or restrict processing accordingly once storage is no longer necessary for the aforementioned purposes.
(5) You can object to data processing based on legitimate interests at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for such processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or such processing is required in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
